I regularly suggest to my clients moving out to use a group of Fire Fighters to move them.  They have moved several of my clients with no problems.

This is a list of suggestions they have given me:

• Install dual-sensor smoke alarms in every room.  You should do a monthly test and change batteries at least once a year.
• Purchase a fire extinguisher.  If you live in a two story home, purchase 2.  We also have one in the garage.
• Create a barrier around your home.  Clean all flammable vegetation and debris.
• Establish two escape routes from each room in the house.  Practice with family members.
